Meeting Rooms at the Renner School

Are you looking for an alternative to the conference room? Dallas Heritage Village has a solution for you!

The Renner School is completely climate controlled, has numerous electrical outlets and can be set up auditorium style or with tables for workspace. The large open structure of our second floor allows easy setup for presentations, lectures or discussion groups and can accommodate groups as large as 100.

Small Cocktail Parties

From the casual informality of a turn-of the-century saloon complete with ragtime piano and long-neck root beers to the rustic appeal of a late 1800’s schoolhouse, Dallas Heritage Village has the appropriate setting for your next party.

Large Cocktail Parties

All of the rental facilities at Dallas Heritage Village offer creative alternatives for your next mixer or recruiting event. With our exceptional list of caterers, we can accommodate any theme and any budget. Our Pavilion Package provides 4,000 square feet of banquet or reception space. By tenting the surrounding green space with our 40x60 tent, we can add another 2,400 square feet and seating for another 200 people.

Completely enclosed by glass doors that slide open and push out, you will be surrounded by the beauty of our manicured lawns and outdoor charm set as a backdrop for our 38-historic structures.

Holiday Parties

Enjoy a nostalgic holiday setting when the holidays were simple and beautiful— the emphasis was on the spirit of the season—and good company with delicious food and drink was the hallmark of this festive celebration!

A truly unique holiday party complete with evening surrey rides and costumed docents!

Company Picnics

We have several different packages available for company picnics. Add the adjacent empty lot for outdoor games, or add face painting, clowns, pony rides or a bank robbery on Main Street to entertain your guests. Packages available during the day or evening.

Conventions

Conventions are our specialty. Dallas Heritage Village is an exclusive and eclectic venue for your guests. Create custom entertainment and programs from our many different party options. Two miles from the Convention Center, we can easily accommodate bus transportation from the Dallas Convention Center and major hotels. We offer many tour packages for spouses and family members of convention goers, and also have many exciting packages for evening events— formal or informal.

Our 13-acres face the Dallas skyline bringing an experience of past and present. As an active member of the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, you can feel sure and confident in our ability to host groups as large as 3,500. We offer a portfolio of event planning ideas and years of experience. We have been the location for some of the city’s largest events.

You and your guests can stroll along our Main Street through a turn-of-the-last-century bank, print shop, law office, general store and saloon. Sit beside our antique fountain, or ramble on down to our late 1800’s church, then walk over to the Renner School House to see what life was like a century ago in Texas schools.

There is even a stage right on Main Street for a band! Add a second stage, the Rail Car Stage, in front of the Depot.

Use our popcorn wagon and tour our early 1900’s Hotel and Doctor’s Office. With the addition of costumed docents, tour the collections in the Millermore House, the Sullivan House and the Blum House. No decorations or staging is needed with our Village!

Add period re-enactors, buggy rides, musical entertainment, trick ropers, mechanical bull rides, cow chipshuffleboard, a live interactive gunfight or bank robbery on Main Street — and much, much more!!
