Nip and Tuck are a matched pair of Mammoth Jack Stock Donkeys. Mammoth Jack
Stock are the second largest and second rarest breed of donkey in the world.
This breed was developed in the late 1700’s.
Nip has a white blaze on his forehead and is slighter in build
than his partner Tuck. Nip is the obstinate one of the pair and it sometimes
takes a while to convince him to try new things.
Tuck is stockier in build than his partner Nip and is also not as
stubborn.
Did you know that Mammoth Jack Stock Donkeys can have ears 13 inches long or
longer?!

Our flock is currently composed of 3 adult sheep. Our sheep are a hardy fine wool breed
that will produce lots of wool for the 1860s Living Farmstead.

Dominiques are the oldest poultry breed developed in the United States.

Please note - All adopted
animals remain in the care and custody of Dallas Heritage Village, and no ownership rights are conferred. Due
to their popularity, some animals may be subject to concurrent adoptions.
