How do holiday traditions from the nineteenth century continue to shape our celebrations today? Explore the Village in its holiday finest with a special History Hunt.

Take a look into the past by experiencing tales from some of the area’s best storytellers. Students and teachers will be placed in groups on a set storytelling schedule. All are welcome to self-tour the Village before or after.

Down on the Farm (Pre-K to 2nd Grade)


March 4, 2011 Only
Cost: $5 per student or chaperone, teachers free

Discover the animals living at the Village. Students join Miss Jenni for a special “Pioneer Play Party” filled with music, dancing and historic games.

"Special Events" Payments and Cancellations


A $50 non-refundable deposit is due within 10 days of booking. Payment in full is due one month prior to the Special Event. Cancellation requests must be made at least one month prior to the Special Event.
