About Village Academy




REGISTER FOR VILLAGE ACADEMY SUMMER 2008 TODAY!

Village Academy invites your child to step into the past. Classes are designed for children ages 4 to 11 and take approximately 2 hours. All classes begin at 10 a.m. Space is limited, so register early!

Dallas Heritage Village members receive a $2 discount on each registration. (Only one discount per membership.) Each family that signs up for 5 or more classes receives a $2 discount on each registration. (Only one discount per family.)

Registration begins June 1.

Sewing Circle
Learn some basic stitches with Mrs. Kennedy so you can start your own cool creations!

Properly Entertained
Learn the proper etiquette and behavior of young ladies and gentlemen of the 19th century! Mrs. Blum will teach proper manners and old-time dances you should know!

Spin, dye and weave your way through as you explore the wondrous uses for wool with our Village craftsman!

Reservation and Cancellation Policy


  • Registration begins June 1. Payment (check, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) is due when the reservation is made. You must register at least 1 week in advance.
  • All classes have a required minimum. The musuem will cancel classes if the minimum has not been reached one week prior to the class date. You will receive a full refund or you may transfer to another class if space is available.
  • If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must do so no later than one week prior to the class start date. You will receive a full refund, less a $3 per registration handling fee. If you cancel within one week of the class, you will not receive a refund.
