Looking for a way to help support Old City Park and help provide educational programming for the community at large? Select an option below for a gift that will be appreciated by all!

Building Exhibit Sign – $2,500

These  permanent signs are placed in front of an historic structure to let the public know the background and history of the building.  In addition to text and photos about the building, there is room to honor the donor or the person or company of the donor’s choice.  For details, contact Director of Development Preston Cooley at 214-413-3662.

Commemorative Park Bench – $1,750

Donating a commemorative park bench is an excellent way to honor a friend or loved one and to provide visitors a place to rest and take in the views. Each bench comes with a plaque that can be engraved with up to 40 letters.

Commemorative Bricks in the Heritage Walkway – $75

A popular way to honor loved ones and friends, or to mark a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding or anniversary. Each brick can hold up to three (3) lines of text with up to 16 characters (including spaces and punctuation). Please keep in mind that due to the engraving process there is a 4-8 week turnaround on all commemorative bricks.

Planned Giving

Making a planned gift not only benefits Old City Park, but can also offer significant tax advantages.

The Mary Aldredge Society

Mrs. Mary Aldredge led the efforts to save Millermore and create the Old City Park we know and love today. Mrs. Aldredge led her army of volunteers with enthusiasm cementing the Park’s place in the community. She and the rest of our founders secured a legacy for future generations. The Mary Aldredge Society was created as a way to honor her memory and recognize those who want to help secure the future of Old City Park.

The Mary Aldredge Society is comprised of far-sighted individuals who have made a planned gift by naming Old City Park in their wills or estate plans. When you join the Mary Aldredge Society you make a lasting mark on your community. The Mary Aldredge Society honors those individuals who have made an investment in the future of the Park through their wills or deferred gifts. Benefits gained by donors through tax-advantaged estate and financial planning make planned gifts possible for individuals at all levels of income.
